In this episode we get to chat with local creative, Kory Wells, who is an incredible community creator, a stunning story teller, and beautiful poet. Kory founded Poetry in the Boro which creates a safe space for people to share their stories , poems, and pieces of themselves they may not be able to share in other spaces. Kory has helped host the Bloom Stage in Murfreesboro, a quarterly storytelling event, and is active with MTSU Writes. She talks about the importance of carving out time and space for yourself to create while finding the balance of creating that space for others. She also talks about how poetry is all about finding that space between words, between lines, and shares a beautiful poem with us. We are some of Kory’s biggest fans and you will be too after this episode!
