One last short episode where Molly wraps up some final ideas about this season’s topic of creating more space. Especially during a season where she created more space within her body and her life to welcome in a new life, her first son, who entered the world this year and what that experience felt like. Also there is a little precursor about the idea for Season 4 next year. Thank you all for listening to this shorter season- we hope you are thinking about all the ways you can create more space for yourself and others.
Episode 28- Sheri Ray
Our last guest of the season was truly a gift. We loved our conversation with Sheri Ray where we dive into creating space amidst the ambiguity of life. We talk about how to challenge the assumptive world of where we think things should be versus where they are and how we deal with those “moments in between” which is truly our entire lives. Sheri tells her powerful story of how she has worked through numerous transitions and periods of grief to create more space for herself in every season life has to offer. Sheri also has her own podcast called “Are We There Yet? Stories from Somewhere in the Middle” that you should definitely check out on spotify or Podbean.

Carrol McTyre is a teaching artist who is an object-based creator working in various mediums including sculpting, drawing, painting, printmaking, fiber, and much more. Her exploration of art stems from trying to understand society while telling society about itself through the mediums she uses. From her Waffle House art social experiment, to using art to process grief, and societal roles and norms, she uses art as a way to process her life experiences. She has been in multiple exhibitions and creates incredible work with inspirational meaning. But sometimes the best part of the art is letting the viewer experience it for themselves and drawing their own conclusions about it.
